PRIVACY

Your images stay on your device

Pixels is designed to compress images locally in your browser. The image files you select are not uploaded to Pixels servers or sent to an external image-processing service.

Image processing

When you choose an image, your browser validates and decodes it, then performs compression using browser APIs. The original image and compressed result remain in your browser memory until you leave the page, reset the tool, or close the tab.

Pixels does not create an account for you, store your uploaded images remotely, or use your images for training, advertising, or profiling.

Information collected by the site

The compressor does not ask for your name, email address, or other personal information. Like most websites, the hosting environment and operational services may process limited technical information needed to deliver the site, such as a request timestamp, browser information, or IP address. Pixels does not use that information to identify the contents of your local images.

Downloads and temporary browser data

Compressed files are created as temporary browser object URLs and are released when they are no longer needed. Downloaded files are saved only according to your browser settings. Pixels does not receive a copy of a file you download.
